Home Again...

After much confusion over deciding to send us up to the floor or sending us home -- home was the winner.  Words cannot express how happy we all are to be at home, sleeping in our own beds.

We will have to keep a close eye on Gavin and his lab's for he next few weeks to make sure he keeps his levels up.  Thankfully even if he drops his Calcium a little he shouldn't go low enough to give him the scary reaction seen last weekend.

Thanks for your prayers -- keep hoping for negative cultures for the fungus.

WOW!!!!!!! SO wasn't expecting this news when I checked in! That is so awesome! I thought about stopping in to visit when we were there yesterday, but wisely decided against it. I just don't know what my Gavin *has*.
Here's to a long stay at HOME and negative cultures :-)
YAY!!!

I was so happy to hear that you and Gavin were finally home (I saw your husband's post last night). So nice to be home in your own bed (I'm looking forward to that myself). Sending praises and continued prayers for negative cultures for little Gavin. Sleep tight!

That is AWESOME! I put Gavin's link on my blog today (an idea I got from Shari's post yesterday). It's at the bottom because I don't know how to put it on my sidebar :)! I'll keep working on it. In my prayers, Emily

Karen: hon, I am glad you are home. I won't have internet access for a while, but will check on you as much as I can at the library. Know I am praying for your family every day.

Karen - Could you share with those of us that are new to your blog how this all started with Gavin. He is so strong and mighty but did her always need to be this way? I don't want to be nosy I am just marveling at your family and how NORMAL you are with all that goes on. If this has been going on since his birth it is so awesome to see how you have taken all that has been handed to you and made such a great life for your family. I don't think I could have done that. You are an inspiration to all mothers out there. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
