I know you as a friend of a friend and have been following off and on since Gavin died. I was recently reminded of your blog again and have loved reading about Angela and the blessing she has been to your lives! My husband and I watch with baited breath as we have a desire to adopt, and feel God is calling us to a special needs child as well. Thank you for sharing your family, and for helping me to understand God in a greater way

I am so excited to hear how your visit goes! I continue to be amazed at how God chose us to be Meya's family and how I cannot imagine life without her. We get so many comments about how lucky she is, but we are the ones who feel incredibly blessed to be called to be her parents. I so have enjoyed following your journey - tears have been shed as Gavin struggled, but am amazed at how his legacy lives on and all that you learned parenting him carries on.
