Karen and Adam - 50 years ago, when I was 5, my 8 year old brother died of brain cancer. There was no grief support available to my parents, let alone to us kids. My brother was barely ever mentioned in our home till I was an adult and raised the issue. And we don't understand what little kids understand and how they translate stuff. About a year after my brother died, my (much)older brother got married. At his reception I cried and cried and couldn't explain why. Looking back on that now, I wonder if I thought that Peter was going to go away the same way that Albert had and I'd never see him again either. Who knows, but thank God we've come a long way since then! I'll be praying that the art therapy can be a real release and healing activity for all of you.

I have our daughter in therapy too because of our "story". I think it is really great for them to be able to talk to someone else. She is just beautiful and you are too funny!

Our Curtis still does Art Therapy for his special needs issues. It's amazing what it has done for him. I think she will really enjoy it. I am still praying for your family. Baby legs should be on their way as soon as I receive them.

Jeff’s step father passed away unexpectedly two years ago leaving behind his 8 and 10 year old siblings. It’s amazing how resilient kids can be compared to adults. Although the kids miss and love their Dad they are doing just fine. I think Madi will have a blast in Art Therapy!
