Christmas In Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below with tiny lights like heaven's stars reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular please wipe away that tear for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you of the joy their voices bring for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I can't tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior face to face?

I'll ask him to lift your spirit as I tell you of your love so then pray for one another as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful and let your spirit sing for I am spending Christmas in heaven and I'm walking with the King.

The story behind the poem: Lysandra Kay Bencke was my thirteen year old handicapped daughter. On Christmas day 1997, Lysandra had a seizure and was in a coma for five days before she died. During those five days I wrote the poem "Christmas in Heaven". I sent it out in belated Christmas cards to friends and relativies that year. They also sent it on to other friends and relatives, thus how the poem and the story behind it has been changed. I can verify all the infomation in this message.

God's speed to Peace Gavin.
I know of you Gavin and your wonderful family from the care givers at A.I. that have come to know and love you all.
Many hearts and prayers go out to all of you this night. We pray that as Gavin answers the call of his Creator, where he goes to find never ending Peace and Love, his Family and all those that he has blessed by creating so much Love and Caring, will be able to rejoice in knowing that in such a short short life, Gavin has touched so many of us in so many ways.

Me and my family are praying that your precious baby Gavin and your entire family can finally have peace. Gavin is such an angel that God sent here to touch so many lives. After all, all of our babies are God's angels and they are just ours to borrow. Find comfort knowing that God still has plans for Gavin and that he will continue to touch lives in ways we don't even yet know. God always has a plan and he will give you and your son peace and comfort always. I too have a son named Gavin with precious blue eyes like your Gavin. He too has special needs and I always find peace just knowing that he will touch so many people's lives and hearts. May God continue to bless you and your family!

We didn't want it easy, God, but we did not contemplate that it would be quite this hard, this long, this lonely. Jesus has prepared Gavin a home and a homecoming in Heaven that is beyond compare to anything here. God bless your family as you say good-bye and He will comfort you until you see Gavin again.
